I know I am, as we will get to spend time with my grandbaby-girl Olivia...

she is such a sweetie!

Today's card was pretty quick & easy.  

I stamped out the sentiment, used my circle-punch and popped it up on foam-adhesives.

The panel across the middle was embossed, then I wrapped floss around it, die-cut those flowers, punched out those tiny butterflies and anchored them with pearls.

Today's card is inspired by the 

Fusion #12 Challenge:

 

Again, I fused both the sketch & colors together,

and here's my take on it:

 I started out with my SU! Crushed Curry Textured cardstock, put the Whisper White bg through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

The flowers were made using my Spellbinders Rose Creations dies,  

(SU! Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango & Melon Mambo), and anchored them with some pearl-brads I had in my stash.

The sentiment is from TPC.  There ya go, clean & simple!

Our Daily Bread with Sympathy

Hey there!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch challenge over at 

Our Daily Bread Designs blog.

I'm disappointed, as by the time I finally got this finished, 

I'd missed the cut-off time  :(

But, here's a look at it!:

I went with the only stamp set I own from ODBD, 

and that is the "Loving Memory" set.

I inked it up, and colored in the leaves using my Prisma.  For dimension, I inked the lilies up again onto SU! Whisper White cardstock, cut them out, then popped them up using foam-adhesives.

Wishes for Maddy

Happy Monday, I sure hope you had a good weekend.

Today's card is a special one created for a very special little girl named Maddy.  Head over to Simon Says Stamp blog to read about Maddy's story and her fight with cancer.

I decided to make another CAS card for her using our Sketch over at the A.R.T. Challenge blog.  I really love this layout, and thought it would work perfect with this one.

It really was simple to make!

I used my "My Little Ballerina" stamp set from CDS, inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored her in with Prisma and blended.

I added some Liquid Glass to her tutu, as I wanted it to be shiny-like-see-thru.

She and the banner are both popped up for dimension.

Baby Girl Shower Invitations

Hi everyone, and Happy Monday...

I hope you all had a great weekend!

On top of being busy getting my A.R.T. Card Challenge blog up and running (enter your Summertime themed card by tomorrow, Tuesday the 18th at Noon, and you could win a Guest Designer spot)...I've been in my craft room making 30 invitations for one of my niece's upcoming baby shower.

Here's how they turned out:

They really weren't hard to make, nor did they take a lot of time.  Now, if I had to create 30 different cards, that would've been a different story.  But with these, I just had an assembly-line going.

I thought since she is naming the baby Paisley, that it would be adorable to add some paisley DP to the invites, and I really love how they turned out.

I'm pretty sure she's going to love them.

I used SU! Bermuda Bay, Real Red, Certainly Celery & Whisper White.

The images are from the Flourishes "Bees & Blooms" set that I inked up with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored in with my Prisma Watercolor Pencils, and the bee is cut out, popped up and has Liquid Glass on its wings.

I went CAS, keeping it without a sentiment for now. 

 I can always add that later, as needed.

CAS Just For You

Happy Friday!!

It's a busy day/weekend for me here.  My most-awesomest-nephew is Graduating from  H.S., and his ceremony was supposed to be this past Wednesday.  However, due to Tropical Storm Andrea and her drenching us with rain...his ceremony has been rescheduled to tonight.  If it gets rained out again, it will be tomorrow morning.  Cross your fingers it's tonight, because his party is tomorrow at my house!

Anyway.....on to my card for today:

It's inspired by this week's sketch over at CAS(E) this sketch, and also from Flourishes Timeless Tuesday to incorporate either a vegetable or a fruit.

I chose watermelon, inked it up, colored it with Prisma, cut them out and popped them up with foam-adhesives for dimension.
