This card was a ton of fun to create, using different color inks and stamps.  

I used the large and small flower stamps from the Verve "Because of You" collection.

Some of you might have noticed that things have been pretty quiet around here, well...there's a reason for that...

I've lost my scrap-room...Eek!

Our son moved back home last week, and all of my goodies had to be boxed up and stored away.  :(

So today, I decided to share a card I created many moons ago, and it's one of my faves!

 All of the items used here are SU!, except for the brad and ribbon.

CAS Twirls of Thanks!

Hey there!

I hope everyone had a fun holiday weekend filled with good food & good times with your loved ones!

I am super-excited to share today's card with you, as one of the challenges I'm entering it in is the CAS-ual Friday's Challenge "Material Girl"; to use material, fabric, canvas, etc. 

Well, I went searching thru my crafts looking for some canvas, 

and what did I find?

Some cross-stitching projects I'd done many moons ago!

And I figured this lil' ballerina was just the ticket!

Isn't she just adorable?

I cut her out, popped her up using foam-adhesives, and anchored her with that cute button and floss.

The layout is from this week's CAS(E) this Sketch, 

but I had to turn it to fit her in.

My "splotches" were created dabbing a paintbrush into some inks.

There ya go, CAS!

Baby Shower Thank You's

Hey there!

Things around here have been busy-crazy, but I was still able to squeeze in a "Thanks!" card for this week's Mojo Monday.

It's hard to tell in this photo, but those black circles that are tucked in have been embossed using my Cuttlebug.

I really liked the sketch this week, and am really excited because since it's the first Monday of the month, Mojo Monday is also having a contest.

A friend of the family has asked me to make her several cards, and specifically some thank-you's.

This one was quick, easy and a ton of fun...I love this color-combo from this week's colorQ challenge to use Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Real Red & Cool Caribbean (I substituted & used Bermuda Bay).

This was also a fun layout, which is from the CAS(E) this Sketch for this week.
